MANYITAKU FOUNDATION OF HOPE(MAFOH) formerly called Manyitaku Foundation is a registered not-for-profit organization with its head office located in Buea, Fako division, South West Region. We are a charitable organization registered with the government of cameroon bearing registration no. 45/G.37/C84/VOL.1/SASC.
We came into existence in the year 2019 as a result of the anglophone crises which has now turn into war. This has led to alot of sufferings in these regions. We had to step in to help them in providing humanitarian aid etc. Ever since then we have been making sure we do our possible best to provide assistance to those who really needs help in the both regions. Our past projects have been amazing. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of amazing volunteers as well as donors, and above all the almighty GOD. We will not relent our effort as much is still needed in order to help the suffering population most especially the IDPs, orphans and disabled. We count on your support so we may continue to put smile on the faces of the less privilege. Do not forget there is joy in giving no matter how small it may be, thank you and God bless you.

There is alot of sufferings in the anplophone regions as a result of war. We had to step in to help them in providing humanitarian aid etc. Our past projects have been amazing. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of amazing volunteers as well as donors, and above all the almighty GOD.

We provide humanitarian aid such as food stuffs and other amenities to help the needy most especially the young children,IDPs,disable who are the most affected by the crisis in the North Westand south west regions of cameroon.
we have launched a tailoring workshop where we are training the single mothers,IDPs and the underpriviledge how to sew dresses and become self employed upon completion.This thus will help to reduce hunger and poverty in the country.
We also carry out workshop traing programs in our foundation such as pastries etc so they can become self employed.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help the people providing services with the people who need them. We engage in promoting agriculture and community development in the rural areas.Rural communities are the most affected in terms of development as well as basic amenities such as drinking water etc.
We provide basic or better still primary health care assitance to the underprivilege who cant afford to go the hospitals or health centers due to economic hardship. In serious cases we refer them to the hospitals and we assist in paying the bills so they can be well treated.
We defend and fight for the rights of the under privilege(minority),discrimination etc. We visits the prison cells to find out about neglected cases and inmates who cant afford to hire a lawyer we make sure we see into that and assist if need be.
We make sure we provided assistance to the orphans,IDPs,disabled children who intend to continue their education. As a result of this ongoing war many children are displaced and turns to have difficulties to pursue their education.We make sure we assist them with their education and for those who cant go back to school we provide them training and handwork.
Multiculturalism is the way in which a society deals with cultural diversity, both at the national and at the community level. Cameroon being bilingual country with many cultural differences and ltribal languages is sometimes difficult to live in peace and co exist. We help in sensitising the population of the need to coexist and live together despite our cultural difference.This as a whole benefits from increased diversity through the harmonious coexistence of different cultures.
Sometimes cultural differences and tribal dispute might rose up and leads to war.When this happens it might be difficult for the state alone to solve the problems.We as an organisation might come in with the help with other organisations being neutral and act as a mediator between the various parties. We make sure we apply techniques to be able to take these into considerations the following;
Don't Ignore Conflict. ... Clarify What the Issue Is. ... Bring Involved Parties Together to Talk. ... Identify a Solution. ... Continue to Monitor and Follow Up on the Conflict..With these can lead to end of conflict and peace will reign.
Sometimes NGOs also seek to inform the public, to mobilise society, to make proposals and to eradicate poverty. They often work in partnership with persons living in poverty and social exclusion, and with public institutions and local structures to facilitate access by the poor to different social services. Our organisation make sure we help provide the vulnerable with opportunity to be self employed through education,workshop,training and financial assistance to set up a small businesses to reduce hunger and poverty.
Our visits to an orphanage in Bamenda in 2020 to provide food and other basic amenities.
